Marilyn Monroe
At the end of February 1962 the British actor Peter Lawford and his wife Pat - John F. Kennedy's sister - invited Marilyn Monroe to a dinner party in New York that was being held to honor the President. Marilyn had actually met Kennedy twice before, once when their flirtatiousness was noticed by onlookers, but she did not have a chance to speak to him in depth. she arived at the party late, but everything stopped until she got there. Kennedy spent the whole night with Marilyn by her side. Before she left, JFK asked for her phone number and of course, she gave it to him. He called her the very next day with a suggestion - he was going to be in Palm Springs on March 24, why not join him there? And incidentally, he told her: 'Jackie won't be there.' They spent a weekend together in the same hotel room. Shortly after, in a conversation between them, JFK happened to say,": "You're not really First Lady material, anyway, Marilyn." She didn't like that at all.

Kennedy only saw Marilyn one time after that weekend. They went sailing with some friends. But that was the end of their affair.
